Mount Kilimanjaro Climb March 2010

Hi Everyone,

I would like to ask for peoples support, as much as possible!!! I am planning to undertake a climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in March 2010. I am doing this for Help for Heroes, a charity that is extremely close to my heart. Having served in the Army in operational environments, I am in a privileged position that I have come back safe and well. Some are not so lucky, including some of my friends. They have suffered horrific injuries and that ultimately affected their futures. Help for Heroes is a charity that aims to help and support our wounded troops and their families. They believe, as I do "that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero".

I know times are hard financially for people, but the suffering our wounded have had to endure is a pain I hope no-one who reads this has had to face.

The climb will be hard, a massive challenge but worth it to raise money to Help our Heroes!

I need help to reach my £4000 target!

Brigg Farmers Market Sat 28th November

We braved the cold and rain on Saturday, all in the aid of charity!! We managed to raise an impressive £1200!!

Thanks to JCS Leisure of Elsham for the canopy, essential in this weather. And then to all the people/shop owners of Brigg who donated prizes for the tombola.

Also a big thankyou to Andrew Percy, prospective MP for Brigg & Goole (Conservative) for his kind donation of £100.

Brigg Town Football Club were also fundraising for Help For Heroes on Saturday night and managed to raise an impressive £850, which they kindly passed on to us!

Thankyou to everyone who helped us on the day , and also those who donated.

Milestone Reached!!

£1000!!

I have just reached my first milestone of £1000! So so pleased, thankyou to everyone who has donated so far!!

I have to raise another £300 by 1st January 2010 to reach the first enforced target and then reach an overall total of £4000 by 1st May 2010, so please keep up your support!! If you haven't donated as yet then follow the donate links on my page!!
